Largest-Shareholder Ownership and Post-Filing Corrections: Monitoring, Detection, and Disclosure
Reconstructed versioned annual-report histories from Korea's OpenDART system,
producing a verified panel of 4,482 firm-years from 672 listed nonfinancial firms over 2018–2024.
The study examines ownership concentration and post-filing corrections using fixed-effects,
lagged-variable, within-between, placebo, and sensitivity analyses, with particular attention
to monitoring, detection, disclosure incentives, and identification limits.
